I have had the opportunity to interview numerous individuals for a variety of jobs. During these interviews, it becomes obvious which interviewees spent time preparing for the job interview and which interviewees thought they could just “wing it.”

Investing time in preparation will create a better experience, not just for you, but for your interviewer as well. It demonstrates respect for the interviewer, job, and ministry. And, of course, the prospects of obtaining the job are always improved when your interviewer feels respected and enjoyed his or her time with you.
